Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

1. Entry into the prize draw signifies acceptance of all conditions. Entrants are required to abide by the Terms and Conditions as presented.
2. Entry to this prize draw is free.
3. The Terms and Conditions of this prize draw are governed by the national gaming laws of Australia.
4. The prize draw will be conducted by AEC Group Pty Ltd (AEC) at the offices of AEC, Level 5, 131 Leichhardt Street, Spring Hill, QLD on behalf of the Townsville Catholic Education, 2 Gardenia Avenue, Kirwan, Queensland, 4817.
5. The prize draw offer is for a chance to win one 8th Generation iPad. (Details: 10.2inch Wifi. 32GB - Space Grey).
6. The prize draw commences at 2:00pm Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) on Monday, November 1st, 2021.
7. The closing time for entering the prize draw is 11pm AEST, Friday, September 24th, 2021. AEC and the Townsville Catholic Education reserve the right to extend the closing time for prize draw entry.
8. To enter the prize draw, the entrant must complete at least 90% of the questions in the Secondary School Choice Survey (https://secondaryschoolchoicera.questionpro.com.au); AND complete the name, address and email address fields provided at the end of the survey.
9. Only parents, guardians and/or care givers of students currently enrolled in the Townsville Catholic Education school year levels 4 to 7 are invited to participate in the survey and are eligible to enter.
10. One entry into the prize draw is provided for each entrant where name, address and email address are also supplied. Participants can only enter once.
11. The winner will be drawn from a random number generator that will contain the names and/or survey identification numbers of all valid entries.
12. The winner will receive details via email on how to collect the prize.
13. Staff employed by either the Townsville Catholic Education or AEC Group Pty Ltd (or related entities) and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter the prize draw.
14. Each valid survey participant (validity as per condition 8 above) will have an equal chance of winning the prize.
15. Contact details of the winner will be supplied by AEC to the Townsville Catholic Education following the prize draw. The Townsville Catholic Education will then inform the winner via email.
16. The prize winners will be contacted within seven (7) days of the draw by email supplied at the end of the survey form.
17. If the prize winner does not respond to claim the prize within twenty-one (21) days of the draw, a re-draw will be conducted within thirty (30) days of the original draw date by AEC Group Pty Ltd (AEC) at the offices of AEC, Level 5, 131 Leichhardt Street, Spring Hill, QLD and with the same method.
18. The prize winner must provide photographic ID when collecting the prize.
19. The prize winner will be responsible for all costs associated with collecting and using the prize.
20. By entering the prize draw the entrant agrees that they are over the age of 18 years.
21. The prize is not redeemable for an alternative prize.
22. The prize winner’s name may be published on the Townsville Catholic Education website. By entering the prize draw, entrants grant permission to use their full name on its website for up to six months from the date of the draw.
23. AEC Group Pty Ltd (AEC) at the offices of AEC, Level 5, 131 Leichhardt Street, Spring Hill, QLD and the Townsville Catholic Education, 2 Gardenia Avenue, Kirwan, Queensland, 4817 are not responsible in any manner whatsoever for any problems or any financial costs incurred, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participants or any other persons related to or resulting from participation in this prize draw.
24. AEC Group Pty Ltd (AEC) at the offices of AEC, Level 5, 131 Leichhardt Street, Spring Hill, QLD and the Townsville Catholic Education, 2 Gardenia Avenue, Kirwan, Queensland, 4817 accepts no responsibility and shall not be held legally liable or responsible for any accident, loss, injury or damage to any individual or property whether direct or indirect, whether in contract, tort, negligence or otherwise arising out of or in connection with the competition or the prize, either during or after the prize draw.
25. The decision of AEC and the Townsville Catholic Education will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
26. Personal information provided by an entrant during the survey for the purpose of entering the Competition will be collected, used and disclosed in accordance with AEC’s Privacy Statement. A copy of the privacy statement is available here. Personal information collected will be kept strictly confidential and will not be sold, reused, rented, loaned, or otherwise disclosed to any third party otherwise than in accordance with AEC’ privacy statement and these Terms & Conditions.
